Servosteel Assists Action Heart
Dated 23-03-06
This year's Road Race run for Action Heart
has been another great success for the
charity. Servosteel support this event
by providing parking for runners. Race
Organiser Paul Davies-Hale said, "... an
event of this nature and reputation would
not be the success it has become without
the support of people like yourselves and
I would like to say how much your assistance
is appreciated."
This year's race was another success story
with entries at the limit of 1000 a week
before the race was to start. Both runners
and spectators appeared to enjoy the day,
and all competitors completed the course
safely.

Servosteel acquires Ascot
Processing
Dated 21-12-05
Ascot Processing Ltd,
a Steel Stockholder and Higher Value Processor
specialising in light gauge coil and based
in Wolverhampton, was acquired by Servosteel
on 28th November 2005.
The business was previously owned and
managed by a father and son team, Dieter
and Tom Appelhans, who will continue to
manage the business.
In addition to a steel stockholding operation,
Ascot specialises in slitting galvanised,
painted and stainless steel coil in the
range 0.3mm to 6.0mm on its three slitting
lines.
The acquisition perfectly compliments
the capabilities of Servosteel and adds
an extra dimension of knowledge and skills
in thinner and higher value materials.
It is anticipated that existing customers
of each business will bring additional
work to the other and take advantage of
the combined Companies’ wider product
range.
Neither Customers nor Suppliers should
notice any changes and the lease on the
Wolverhampton site has been extended for
a further two years.
